Privacy
No accounts, no cookies of our own, no tracking. Your progress and what you type into the tools stay on your device.

What this site does not do
- It has no accounts and no sign-up.
- It sets no cookies of its own.
- It has no analytics script and no advertising.
- Its pages load nothing from other servers: no scripts, no fonts, no trackers. The one exception is a video, and only after you press play (see Videos, below).
- It has no contact form. If you write to us, you use your own email.
What stays on your device
The training programme and the toolkit remember your work in your browser, on the device you are using:
- which parts of a module you have opened,
- your quiz answers and scores,
- your ratings in the self-evaluation checklist and your progress tracking,
- what you type into the tools, such as your baseline, your early-warning system, your governance audit and your 90-day plan,
- your name, if you type it into the completion summary.
The display settings you choose (text size, contrast and line spacing) are kept in the same way.
The site uses this storage only to give your own work and your settings back to you. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else. There is no copy on a server: we cannot see it, and we cannot bring it back if it is lost.
If you type an athlete’s name or numbers into a tool, they stay on this device too. Other people who use the same browser can see them. On a shared device, use initials or an invented name, and delete your answers when you have finished.
To delete everything, use “Delete everything on this device” on the Learn page, or clear your browser’s data for this site. When you print a tool or save it as a file, that also happens on your device.
Server records and visitor numbers
Like every website, the server that holds this site records each request, for example the address of the device (IP address), the page, the time and the browser. Wellnist uses these records only to keep the site working and to count visits and downloads for the project’s reports. It does so because it has a legitimate interest in running the site safely and in reporting how the project’s results are used.
The site is on a server in Germany, at the hosting company Hetzner. Mobile Adventure Sp. z o.o. (MOBAD), a company in Poland, runs the server on Wellnist’s behalf. The server records are kept for 100 days and then deleted.
Videos
Each module has a short video. The videos are kept at Vimeo, a video service in the United States. A page with a video shows a picture and a “Play video” button, and both come from this site. Nothing is loaded from Vimeo until you press the button.
When you press “Play video”, the player comes from Vimeo. Your browser then loads the player and the video from Vimeo’s servers and, in some browsers, script files from a Google server (gstatic.com), which the player uses for casting to another screen. Vimeo sees the address of your device (IP address), your browser, and that the video is played on this site. In that case Google also sees the address of your device and your browser.
- The player is set to “do not track”. Vimeo says that with this setting the player does not follow what you watch and keeps no viewing statistics.
- Vimeo still sets cookies of its own, which protect its service against automated misuse.
- Vimeo’s own privacy rules apply to what it receives: vimeo.com/privacy (opens in a new tab).
You do not need Vimeo to follow the programme. The words of every video are written out on its module page.
Listening to a module
Each module can be listened to as well as read. The sound files are part of this site: playing or downloading one contacts no other server.
Emails
If you write to us, Wellnist uses your email to answer you and keeps it only as long as it needs to. If you send feedback on the programme, Wellnist may share what you wrote with the project partners, without your name and address, so that the programme can be improved. Please do not send athletes’ personal or health data by email.
Links to other websites
Some pages link to other websites, such as the sources of the programme and the partner organisations. Those websites have their own privacy rules.
The mobile app
This page covers this website only. It does not cover the WEARCOACH mobile app.
Who is responsible, and your rights
Wellnist, the organisation that coordinates WEARCOACH, is responsible for this website. Its details are on the Imprint page, and its address for questions is on the Contact page.
You can ask Wellnist what it holds about you, and ask it to correct or delete it. You can also object to its use, or ask for the use to be limited. Because the site has no accounts and keeps no copy of your answers, this will normally be only the emails you sent and the server records described above.
If you live in the European Union or the European Economic Area, you can also complain to the data protection authority of your country. In Türkiye, where Wellnist is established, the authority is the Personal Data Protection Authority, KVKK (kvkk.gov.tr (opens in a new tab)).
