Telling an athlete a number they do not want to hear
The topic
When the data is unfavourable and a session must be reduced, the programme advises a script prepared in advance: acknowledge the athlete's effort, share what the data shows in plain terms, connect it to the decision, invite the athlete's view and confirm the way forward together.
